Complex.

- Molded after real life cowboy,
Frank Eaton (1860-1958)
- Learned to shoot at age of
seven, after his father's death
- Packed the fasted guns in Indian
Territory
- Served as a Deputy U.S Marshal
who tracked and arrested cattle thieves
- Received nickname "Pistol Pete"
for outshooting cavalry at age 15
- Was asked in 1923 to serve as
model for the college mascot by Oklahoma A & M students. He symbolized the
rugged wild history of Oklahoma
- Received special award from
National Cowboy Hall of Fame in 1996
