Will Rogers~
Located in
Claremore, Oklahoma
"All I Know is What I Read in The
Papers", depicts Claremore's favorite son reading his hometown newspaper,
and is fittingly located in front of the new Claremore Daily Progress
Building in downtown Claremore, Oklahoma. In honor of Will's birthday, November
4, this first life-size monument was dedicated on Saturday, November 2, 1996.
the remaining five statues in "The Will Rogers Story" series will be
released through the year 2002.
